Through the years we have given back to the communities where we build and live. This not only allows us to express our gratitude to our communities for allowing us to enjoy many years of successful custom home building but is also a way for us to make a positive and lasting impact by supporting organizations that provide services for those in need.
We offer our time, our hearts, and our financial resources to make our communities better for everyone. That’s why we often take part as sponsors and participants in events such as the upcoming Mighty Mason Pritchett 5K Run and Virtual Sprint Triathalon.
Mason Pritchett was born with a rare blood disorder that affects 1-2:1,000,000; Severe Congenital Neutropenia (SCN), which can only be cured by a bone marrow transplant. From early 2017 Mason has been in and out of the hospital in order to undergo treatments for his condition, which has been a rollercoaster of some failures but mostly successes. Happily, on through 2020, Mason has been doing very well, has been gaining weight and in July has even grown an inch!
Through it all, little Mason has been and still is one of the happiest and most energetic individuals that you will ever have the pleasure to meet. He is an incandescent soul that brings endless joy to those who come across his path and the strength and resilience that he has shown through the hardships he has faced is truly an inspiration for us all.
That is why we at 5th Avenue Construction are proud to sponsor and support Mason and his family through the second annual Mighty Mason Pritchett 5K Run and Virtual Sprint Triathalon, which kicks off on September 6, 2020. This event will feature a fun 5K run through the picturesque landscape of Whalon Lake and will end with family-oriented race day activities and a silent auction under a pavilion. Whalon Lake is a scenic and expansive nature preserve and offers plentiful space for enjoyment while social distancing.
