About Us

About 5th Avenue Construction

Fifth Avenue Construction is a "Yes We Can" builder of quality custom homes that we believe in and our clients are proud to call their own.

Brother-in-laws Frank Dimperio and Patrick Timmons are homebuilding veterans with a combined 40-plus years of residential construction experience in the Chicagoland area, together founded 5th Avenue Construction in 2009. Seeing the industry shift amidst the recession, Dimperio and Timmons established 5th Avenue as an antidote to the cost-cutting, quality-reducing measures they saw rising throughout the homebuilding industry.

Eager to craft a new niche in the marketplace and respond to homebuyers' most pressing concerns, Dimperio and Timmons created 5th Avenue Construction to have a precise focus on three areas: inspired and distinctive design, optimal transparency between buyer and builder, and the use of only high quality and sustainable construction materials in each home that they build.

The family-owned and operated firm caters to individual buyers, particularly in the custom home marketplace. Adding to their already stellar portfolio, 5th Avenue Construction has entered community development with semi-custom homes in Lemont, Lisle, and Plainfield, Illinois. In 2012, 5th Avenue Construction's evolution reached a new high when the company moved into a modern showroom in downtown Naperville; a physical sign of the firm's emerging reputation and rapid growth. 5th Avenue Construction's headquarters hosts a design center, a full kitchen showroom, and smart home technology throughout.
